英语沙龙龙长安迪布置的任务，每人写一篇关于冬天的英语文章。信手编了个小童话，觉得挺可爱，哈哈！
There was a big argument among spring, summer, autumn and winter to select an honoured guest to attend the ball in heaven. Dancing with the angels was a wonderful dream of them all.
Spring smiled and said, "spring is youth. life blossoms in spring. lovers date in spring. peaceful spring is in pleasant green. " "Even greener than me?", mocked summer, " summer is enthusiastic. Inspirations dance in summer.all creatures grow up in summer. " "Even more matured than me?", sneered autumn, "autumn is a real grown-up's meditation. autum is Van Gogh's sunflower. autumn is a feast for the eyes of all the admiring poets. Nature's Mardi gras takes place in autumn. Then came quiet winter, who plainly claimed," i am winter, the end of all ends; the start of all starts." all the boisterous three fell into silence. "everything comes for my judegment at the end of a year, both good and evil," continued our quiet winter,"i accept them all and bring them back to innocence and purity. all colours combine, and we will finally get white. all sounds blend and we will have silence. all motions mingle, and we will gain wisdom. all ends meet and that is our real start. rivers are frozen to enjoy serious thinking. animals hibernate to learn to endure. humans suffer the coldness and decide to love. when everything is ready, i launch a new year. i am the festival of all festivals. i am the greeting of all season's greetings." "i witnessed the birth of Jesus Christ. i remind people to give thanks and appreciate their life. i feel great joy each time when i kiss my beloved daughter snow-white. i host grand snow flake ballets in the sky. i decorte the jinggle world with the color of all colours to welcome a new year to arrive." "Your are the celeb, winter-- the end of all ends and the start of all starts." claimed the other three seasons.
